PedalInvest is operated by:
02 Eligibility
To use PedalInvest, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- Provide accurate and complete registration information;
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.
03 Nature of the Platform
PedalInvest is an exclusive investment network and investor engagement platform operated by PedalStart Technology Private Limited under the PedalStart ecosystem.
The platform facilitates access to curated startup investment opportunities, investor-founder engagement, portfolio tracking, investment-related communications, document management, and startup ecosystem participation for eligible investors.
PedalInvest may provide investors with access to startup information, portfolio updates, reports, investment-related documents, founder interactions, and ecosystem events.
While the platform supports investor engagement and startup discovery, it does not execute securities transactions, hold investor funds, provide custody services, or act as a regulated intermediary unless expressly stated otherwise under a separate agreement.
04 Regulatory Position
PedalInvest operates as a portfolio tracking, investor engagement, and document management platform.
The platform itself does not facilitate the execution of securities transactions, custody of funds, investment advisory services, portfolio management services, or regulated financial activities unless expressly stated under a separate written agreement and applicable regulatory framework.
Users acknowledge that the platform primarily serves as an information management and investor engagement tool.
05 No Investment Advice
PedalInvest may present information regarding startups, founders, fundraising rounds, investment opportunities, market developments, and portfolio companies.
Such information is provided solely for informational and educational purposes and should not be construed as investment advice, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to invest in any particular company, security, or opportunity.
Investors are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence and making independent investment decisions.
06 Investor Responsibility and Due Diligence
Investors are solely responsible for evaluating any startup, founder, investment opportunity, or information made available through the PedalInvest platform or network.
Any investment decision should be based on the investor's independent assessment, due diligence, financial circumstances, risk tolerance, and professional advice where appropriate.
PedalStart does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or future performance of any startup, founder, portfolio company, or investment opportunity presented through the platform.
07 Startup Investment Risk Disclosure
Investments in startups and private companies involve significant risk. Users acknowledge and understand that:
- Startup investments are highly speculative;
- Investments may be illiquid;
- Returns are not guaranteed;
- Portfolio valuations may fluctuate;
- Businesses may fail;
- Investors may lose part or all of their invested capital.
Historical performance displayed on the platform should not be considered an indicator of future performance. PedalStart does not guarantee investment returns, exits, liquidity events, or valuation outcomes.
08 User Accounts
Users may create accounts using:
- Email authentication;
- Mobile number authentication;
- OTP-based verification;
- Google Sign-In or similar authentication services.
Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining account confidentiality;
- Protecting login credentials;
- Monitoring account activity;
- Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access.
Users remain responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts.
09 KYC and Verification
Certain platform features may require identity verification. Users agree to:
- Provide accurate KYC information;

PedalStart may reject, suspend, or restrict access where verification requirements are not satisfied.
10 Investor Information and Data Accuracy

PedalStart is not responsible for losses arising from:
- Incorrect investor information;
- Incomplete documentation;
- User-submitted errors;
- Outdated information provided by users.
11 Document Vault Services
PedalInvest may provide access to a digital document vault that stores investment-related documents, including but not limited to:
- Shareholder Agreements (SHA);
- Tax Certificates;
- Investment Agreements;
- Reports;
- Pitch Decks;
- Financial Documents.
While reasonable efforts are made to maintain document availability and security, PedalStart does not guarantee uninterrupted access to stored documents. Users are encouraged to maintain independent copies of important documents.
12 Platform Availability
We strive to provide uninterrupted access to PedalInvest. However, we do not guarantee that the platform will always be:
- Available;
- Error-free;
- Secure;
- Uninterrupted;
- Compatible with every device or browser.
The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, or factors beyond our control.
13 Intellectual Property
All platform content, including but not limited to software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, user interfaces, and features, are owned by or licensed to PedalStart and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may not:
- Copy;
- Reproduce;
- Distribute;
- Modify;
- Reverse engineer; or
- Create derivative works from
any part of the platform without prior written consent.
14 Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to:
- Use the platform unlawfully;
- Submit false information;
- Attempt unauthorized access;
- Circumvent security controls;
- Interfere with platform operations;
- Upload malicious software;
- Misrepresent identity;
- Use automated tools to scrape platform data;
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of access.

The platform may integrate with third-party providers including authentication, hosting, analytics, and communication services. PedalStart is not responsible for:
- Third-party services;
- Third-party policies;
- Third-party system failures;
- Third-party content.
Use of such services may be subject to separate terms and policies.
16 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PedalStart, its directors, employees, officers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for:
- Investment losses;
- Loss of profits;
- Loss of opportunity;
- Data loss;
- Business interruption;
- Indirect damages;
- Consequential damages;
- Special damages;
- Reliance on platform information.
Users acknowledge that startup investments inherently carry risk and that PedalStart does not guarantee investment outcomes.
17 Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless PedalStart, its directors, employees, affiliates, and representatives against claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses arising from:
- Violation of these Terms;
- Misuse of the platform;
- Violation of applicable laws;
- Submission of false information.
18 Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform at our sole discretion if:
- These Terms are violated;
- Fraudulent activity is suspected;
- Legal or regulatory obligations require action;
- Security concerns arise.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations accrued before termination.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
